AutoFLAC

mysterious noise added

Hello,

I recently finished archiving all my CD's & started listening to some today. I found this noise in one track so far that's not there on the CD.
Any time there were errors during rip I put the disc aside so everything that got saved was (supposedly) error-free.

It sounds like the clicks that happen when a machine playing something is overloaded. I don't think that was why though, since the box I ripped them on is a 3GHz Core2 Quad w/ 4G RAM. It was only somewhat unresponsive during pre-track gap detection.

I'm hesitant to call it an artifact because I'm new to recording terminology & am not sure it's the right word to describe it accurately.

I was able to find it in Adobe Audition 3 & have a screenshot of it at the following address:

Unfortunately while I've had it for a few months, I've yet to find the time to learn how to use it.
This is actually the first time I've used it.

Sorry I don't know how to add img link (without a button), either.

I'm afraid I'm going to have to re-rip all these CD's again, now that I know there's potential for errors. 100% accuracy is the goal.

Please advise.

No .Cue sheet generated

using autoflac for a long time and just noticed recently that I'm not able to generate a .cue sheet with the ripped files...I'm using EAC 095b4 and followed all of the specifications in the readme file to a "t"....this is a handy feature and I'm wondering if I'm missing something simple or did I used to use an older version of eac?...thanks for any help/info.....Dave

Hello,

a couple of month ago I used already autoflac with eac together and it worked fine and made work easier. I also had the problem once
with "Error: Unable to execute the external program." It looks like the general problem with metaflac and the option replay-gain. I could fix it in the past but not now anymore. I made everything force and back. Directory in autofalc has to be equal to directory path in eac minus filename. I do not know any more what else I should do. Where is the point with this mistake?!
