No .Cue sheet generated

using autoflac for a long time and just noticed recently that I'm not able to generate a .cue sheet with the ripped files...I'm using EAC 095b4 and followed all of the specifications in the readme file to a "t"....this is a handy feature and I'm wondering if I'm missing something simple or did I used to use an older version of eac?...thanks for any help/info.....Dave

Does everything else work? Eg., when you rip a CD, all files are properly encoded to FLACs and stored in the appropriate output directory (which, by default, is \Genre\Artist\Album\)? If so, I hate to say it, but that's kind of weird. Creating the CUE sheet is one of the least complicated things that AutoFLAC does.

Here are a few of things I can think of off the top of my head to try:

  1. Try creating the cue sheet manually: Click Action, Create CUE Sheet, Multiple WAV Files With Gaps... (Noncompliant)
  2. Look in the "base" directory for the CUE sheet instead of the album directory; it may get left here if there's something funny going on with the album or artist name (eg., special symbols, etc.)
  3. Try ripping another CD. Does that work?

Please post your results back when you get the chance.

ok, heres what I did...I physically watched the rips and after gap detection a .cue sheet appeared during extraction..as soon as the rips were done, the .cue sheet gets sent to the recycle bin...this happened on 2 different computers and don't know why this happens...If I drag the .cue sheet back to the folder and try to open it with Exact Audio Copy I get this error message "Error in Cue sheet File not detected in Line 7" Here is a partial copy of the .cue sheet

The error message appears to refer to the line
FILE "Rock\Audioslave\Audioslave\01-Cochise.wav" WAVE

the resulting files after ripping are .FLAC files...I duplicated this on 2 different systems with 2 different cds (although the other message said "error in line 6", it referred to the same "first" wave file)...I'm at a loss, I'm sure my older versions of EAC generated .cue files within the folder that were able to be opened by EAC...I guess its not Autoflac thats causing my problems, but some change within EAC or something, but if you have some ideas, I'd sure like to hear them....thanks...Dave

Hi - have problems embedding CUE-sheet into FLAC image with current AutoFlac & EAC. Only the first track's description is displayed.
The download link for the 1.3 beta no longer works.

Any chance this is a problem that is fixed in the beta?
If so - can I try the beta?

What do you mean by "only the first track's description is displayed"? Displayed in what?

What happens when you run metaflac --list filename.flac? You should see a CUESHEET tag/comment. Does that show the full thing, or only the first line, or is it missing altogether?
