universalextractor - unpack and pack

universalextractor is unpacking all kinds of inno installer.exe or wise installer.exe very good.

but if i extract a wise installer.exe, i also want to pack it the same way again into a wise installer.exe...After I modified the unpacked files.

How can i do that?

I'm also looking for a "repacker"!

I need to unpack (done), modify (done) and finally repack an InstallShield exe.

My only problem is repacking it, everything else is just easy.

What's the tool to repack a bunch of InstallShield files like installation script, Cabs etc into the all-in-one exe?

Can I use InstallShield itself to achieve that??

I'm really not sure, short of using InstallShield itself. You can try checking out http://programmerstools.org/; they have a pretty good selection of installer-related utilities, but most if it seems more geared towards unpacking than packing.

Alternatively, you could just rewrite the installer in a free product such as Inno Setup. It may require a bit more work on the frontend to learn how to do it, but then you can re-use that knowledge to create additional installers going forward.
