If I drag a file with rightclick to somewhere, e. g. in Explorer or FreeCmmander, a context menu appears. Is there a way to include the UniExtract context menu elements that appear when rightclicking a file? I like to extract files that way without filedialogs that make me ill. Or is there such a menu and i am dumb? :-)
Re: Rightclick drag & drop
No, you're not missing anything. There's currently no way to do this, unfortunately. It's basically the same limitation that prevents me from adding nested context menus - system integration at that level requires a custom DLL, and there's no way that I've been able to find of doing this without the commercial version of Visual Studio. This is one of those features that I'd certainly like to add, as I use it very often myself with WinRAR, but it's just not possible at this time.

Re: Rightclick drag & drop
I could help you code a shell extension dll that you could include in your software package. I can code it in C++ or C#. Let me know here or by email.
Re: Rightclick drag & drop
If you're willing to help, I'm definitely interested. I'd love to be able to include this capability. I'd e-mail you, but you didn't leave your address. :-) Please let me know if you're still willing to help. You can find my e-mail address in the website footer.
Thanks.

Re: Rightclick drag & drop
Sent you an email yesterday :)
Re: Rightclick drag & drop
Jared, are you still interested in the extension? I have almost finished it (at the moment, for my own use), with some basic functionality as described in the email.
Re: Rightclick drag & drop
Yeah, definitely, I just haven't had any time for the last couple weeks to focus on this. Sorry for the lack of reply. I should be able to get through some of my e-mail over the weekend - I'll definitely give you a shout.
Thanks!
