Error: Can not open file as archive'
can anyone help me im completely confused
Re: problem opening archive files
The UniExtract error states that, while the file appears to be an ISO CD-ROM image, it cannot successfully extract the contents. UniExtract uses 7-zip on the backed to extract ISO files, and the output from 7-Zip is what you see in the log file. So, for whatever reason, 7-Zip was unable to extract the contents of this file. It might be because the file is corrupt, or is not really a CD-ROM image, or maybe 7-Zip just doesn't like the file for some reason. Bottom line is that it just can't be extracted.
Newer versions of WinRAR support extraction from ISO files, so you could try that. I'm sure there are other free and shareware utilities that can do it as well (assuming that the file is indeed a CD image and is not corrupt).

Re: problem opening archive files
thanks i used winrar and it extracted perfectly fine i think it must be a small problem with 7-zip
i used to use win rar untill i found uniextract cuz uni was faster i used that instead and completely forgot about winrar
cheers ;)
Re: problem opening archive files
Glad to help, and thanks for the note about ISO issues. I'll need to investigate this once I resume development on UniExtract (whenever that may be). Maybe newer versions of 7-Zip have better support or some bug fixes for this.
If anyone is able to find a publicly available ISO that exhibits this behavior (such as a Linux distribution or something else that I can freely download), please let me know. I'd like to do some testing on this myself.
Thanks.
