worm infected download?

I tried downloading the program - uniextract - but at first I tried getting the installer and was just getting corrupted downloads, then I tried the binary and Adaware/Adwatch stopped it because of this -

win32.worm.viking

On viruslist.com they have a long page of info regarding that worm and includes all the other names it is known by.

What kind of bs is this? Your app was recommended by someone on another forum. I hope it is not for real, what do you think?

Yesterday NOD32 also reported it as a worm Sohanad.NCB. I can imagine this is for its capability of generating code, but I am not sure....
