Today, after some days of working with the program I have had the same problem. I have attempted to reinstall the software but I can not keep Universal Extractor installed to the system because the antivirus does not allow me it...
This is a known issue. You can read one of my previous posts about this issue on the MSFN forum for the full details, but basically this is a result of over-aggressive antivirus definitions. This is a problem with the AV software, not with Universal Extractor. Provided you downloaded and installed the copy published on the UniExtract home page, you can treat this as a false positive. It's an annoyance, but unfortunately there's nothing that I can do about it.
For more information, you can read this post on the AutoIt forum about the issue. This affects all AutoIt programs, not just Universal Extractor. One suggestion they provide is to notify your AV vendor of the false positive. That way they can at least fix the issue in a future update.
