yah, i read that yesterday... i dont know what direction apple is going next... i dont think they know either sometimes

I highly doubt that, too. I do respect Apple as a company, and definitely support them as a competitor to MS, but it seems that they very often just stumble around until they hit on a good idea, and then milk it for everything it's worth (can you say iMac?).

They absolutely should switch over to x86 architecture. AMD or not, they have everything to gain, and absolutely nothing to lose. Come on, Apple, get with the program!

true... but i think they arent going to switch... b/c of those dang mac guys being all up in arms about how Apple's hardware kicks the snot out of x86 based hardware
